Tips for Removing Dirt from Generator Water Tank

The diesel generator has been in use for a long time and cannot avoid wear and tear on various components. For the generator water tank, the scale in the water tank not only affects the heat dissipation effect of the generator, but also reduces the service life of the diesel engine. Therefore, the Suzhou generator manufacturer suggests that customers should promptly remove the scale in the diesel engine water tank for our long-term use.

The specific operation method for removing scale in the diesel generator water tank is to first mix 30 kilograms of water, 2.5 kilograms of caustic soda, and 0.6 kilograms of kerosene into a cleaning solution, and pour it into the water tank. Then start the diesel engine and run it at medium speed for about 10 minutes before stalling. Wait for 10 to 12 hours before restarting the diesel engine, run at medium speed for about 10 minutes, turn off the engine, and discharge the cleaning fluid. After adding clean cooling water, start the diesel engine and run it at medium speed to clean itself. Repeat this process 2-3 times to thoroughly remove the scale.
